Module I

In this first module, we will talk about CREATIVITY. First, I will present a little about myself and my way here and soon after I will give some concepts of style, artistic development. Next, we will start talking about how to stay creative and how important it is to consume quality references to train our eyes.

Introduction

In this video I'm going to tell you a little bit about my trajectory until I reached the aesthetic that I have today. One of the main goals is to show you that there is no right path in art, each one has a unique journey and taking this into account in your work will only make you have a job with more personality.

I started to paint watercolor studying Botanical Illustration, back in 2015, and it was great to learn to have total control of the tool. It took a few years for me to be able to let go of my hand and allow myself to make watercolors looser and more stylized, but with a lot of study and willingness to improve we managed to achieve anything, believe me!

Creativity - Mood board, references, theme

Understanding where to look for inspiration and what are the triggers that make you very inspired to paint is one of the keys to success to always be with the energy load to create up there! I know that photography is super important to me, so I insist on consuming a lot of channels (Pinterest, Instagram, etc.) that feed me visually.
